About this product: 

This two metre long strip of hessian has been hemmed to create beautiful long strips of rag rugging, which make gorgeous festive garlands, pretty swags and beautiful basket trims. With a bit of fabric and some ingenuity, this hessian is perfect for adding handmade pizzazz to your home. Garlands, trims and swags are a great alternative project for anyone looking for something a bit different. 

The hessian itself measures 200 x 5 cm and can be shortened to any length. Personally, we like to use the full length to decorate mantlepieces, mirrors and bannisters at Christmas time. This hessian comes with an instruction booklet on how to make a rag rug flower basket trim with design tips, but does not include any fabric. 

This hessian is a medium weave (10 holes per inch / 10HPI) which is perfect for both beginner and expert rag ruggers to use with a rug hook or spring tool. It is the same hessian used to make all our Ragged Life projects so you can rest assured that you're buying what the experts use.
